National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified the allotment of examination city to the applicants of JEE Mains Session I. In the very same notice dated 18 Jan 2023, it has mentioned that Session I will now be conducted on 1 Feb as well.

Humanities & Commerce Students eligible: Important to note that students of any stream who have passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) with 50 % marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination are eligible to attempt JEE-Mains Paper 2B and thereby get admission in B.Planning course even in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.

New dates for JEE Mains Session I
Dates for BE/BTech Session I: 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 Jan and 1 Feb (for BE / BTech)
Dates for BArch/BPlanning (Paper 2A & 2B): 28 Jan (Second shift)

Regarding examination city & admit card
(a) The candidates are required to check / download their Examination City Intimation slip of JEE Mains 2023 Session 1 by using their Application No. and Date of Birth and go through the instructions contained therein.
(b) The Candidates may please note that this is NOT the Admit Card for JEE Mains 2023 Session 1. This is advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located, to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of JEE Mains 2023 Session 1 shall be issued later. (c) In case any candidate faces difficulty in downloading/checking the Examination City Intimation Slip for JEE Mains 2023 Session 1, he/she can contact on 011-40759000 or e-mail at jeemain@nta.ac.in. NTA is conducting JEE Mains Session 1 at different Centres located in 290 cities throughout the country and 25 Cities outside India.
